Area cities are working together with PG&E to offer a combined water-energy rebate of up to $200 on certain high-efficiency models. Washer retailers have the application and eligible washer list. For more information, visit www.waterenergysavings.com or call 1-800-933-9555 REFRIGERATORS, FREEZERS & ROOM AIR CONDITIONERS Pacific Gas and Electric Company (PG&E) customers may qualify for a rebate by recycling old refrigerators, freezers and room air conditioners. Qualifying customers will receive a rebate in 6-8 weeks for each unit. Funding is limited. For details or to schedule an appointment, call 1-800-299-7573 or visit www.pge.com/res/rebates. TOILETS City of Napa water customers can have their pre-1992 water-wasting toilets (3.5 or more gallons per flush) replaced with new 1.6 gallon or less toilets for free in the City's Toilet Retrofit Program. Visit www.cityofnapa.org/water or call 257-9497 for details. As an alternative to that program, Napa Sanitation District sewer customers may instead receive a $100 rebate for each pre-1992 toilet that they replace themselves. For further details, visit www.napasanitationdistrict.com. The City of American Canyon will reimburse up to $100 for every qualifying standard toiled removed and replaced with an ultra-low flush toilet.
